Mrs. Wall's 5th grade science classes brought science to life with a spooky, bubbling Frankenstein Foam experiment. Students combined baking soda, vinegar, food coloring, and egg whites to create a monster-sized foamy chemical reaction. The egg whites contain proteins that help trap the carbon dioxide bubbles. As the bubbles become trapped, they create a light, fluffy foam that lasts longer than the bubbles alone. The egg whites help stabilize the foam rather than simply allowing the gas to escape!

The fourth graders had a wonderful day celebrating the All Saints’ Mass with our entire school community! 🙏 Following Mass, they gathered for a lovely brunch and each received a thoughtful gift. 📿 They ended the day with an inspiring visit with Father Stephen, making it a truly special and memorable celebration for everyone. ✝️

The kindergarten has an amazing visit with Firefighter Brian today. We learned all about fire safety and got to see how friendly firefighters are, even in uniform. Each cadet got 3 jobs to do when we get home tonight. 1. Check for Fire extinguishers. 2. Check for smoke detectors. 3. Plan your family meeting place in case of emergency. Thank you Fireman B!!

Mrs D's 3rd grade scientists had fun learning the Scientific Method while testing the solubility of Candy Corn in different liquids. Afterwards, they were allowed to enjoy some candy corn😊.

Kindergarten is having the best day ever!!! We rode a bus and a hayride, picked apples, learned about the cider making process, ate cider and donuts and got to make new memories!

First and second grade had a great time yesterday at their Spanish field trip seeing the Hispanic Flamenco Ballet!  This music and dance company is based in Miami and travels the country teaching students about the many styles of music and dance in Latin America.

Mrs D's 3rd grade scientists are investigating the phenomenon of how objects made of the same material move differently.

Kindergarten taste test today! Not many fans of bitter chocolate but we liked sweet, salty and sour. We love science in real life!!
